The BDTV 228 crew from Bremen District 228 showcased their talent and creativity at the 32nd Annual Midwest Media Educators Association (MMEA) Video Festival, earning multiple awards and finalist placements across a range of categories.

Brody Lynch stood out with an impressive performance, placing third in both the Documentary and Cinematography categories, and securing finalist spots in the Public Service Announcement and School Promotion categories.

The team of Brody Lynch, Justin Gibbs, Caiden Forbes, Daymere Bond, Sean Trotter, and Jeric Goings earned third place in the highly competitive 7 Day Film Festival category, demonstrating their collaborative storytelling skills under pressure.

Abril Duarte was named a finalist in both the Music Video and Demonstration categories, reflecting her diverse production abilities and creative direction.

In the Talk Show category, Julian Sandoval, Luke Conlan, Jacen Gertos, Tylin Ruthlidge, and Jada Davis were recognized as finalists, showcasing their on-screen presence and production coordination.

The MMEA Video Festival is one of the region’s most respected showcases for student-produced video content, drawing entries from over 40 schools across Illinois and Indiana. The festival celebrates excellence in student filmmaking and offers a platform for emerging talent.
