ALERT: Due to the expected extreme temperatures on FRIDAY, January 23rd, 2026, we will be moving to an e-Learning format and students will not need to attend in person. All staff other than custodial staff will be working remotely supporting this e-Learning day.

Yesterday, 30 students who earned their Braves Bash badges for great attendance, passing all classes, and no disciplinary infractions were treated to hot chocolate, marshmallows, and cookies. All they had to do was show their badge to a dean! Way to go Braves! #BremenBraves @bremencounselors

Bremen High School honored nearly 380 students during its Semester 1 Student Recognition Breakfast on Thursday, January 8, celebrating academic excellence, dedication, leadership, and positive character in a festive and meaningful way. Held during third period in the Main Gym, the event recognized students across a wide range of achievements, including those earning Honors with Distinction (straight A’s), perfect attendance, Top 5 Star Point earners, SSC All-Conference student-athletes, IHSA sectional qualifiers, and students personally nominated by Bremen staff for outstanding effort, growth, or character.

Our EL Language Lab B and Developing Language B students teamed up for a special Thanksgiving project—and they shined!
Students explored Thanksgiving history, built vocabulary together, and practiced sharing their ideas in English. The unit wrapped up with a student-led Thanksgiving celebration featuring student-made games, scripts, pumpkin pie & hot chocolate. They ended with a photo reflection created in Canva (attached).

As part of the annual BHS Food Drive, Mrs. Debbie Strom joined Dr. Jayna Harthan, Psy.D., Clinical Psychologist in Trauma Services, Rebecca Beltrami, Social Worker with HUD-VASH, & Donald Donahue, Social Worker with HUD-VASH, to unload donations collected by @bremen_nhs
HUD-VASH is a collaborative program between the U.S. Departments of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) & @deptvetaffairs that provides rental assistance & support services to homeless Veterans, helping them secure & maintain housing.
A huge thank-you to Mrs. Strom for leading this effort and ensuring donations reached our local Veterans Affairs Clinic.
