Last Wednesday, our freshmen, sophomores, and juniors took their biannual state exams. Throughout the day, our deans were in the halls keeping spirits high and energy up with light treats to help students stay focused. 30 students whose choices were truly a breath of fresh air earned their Braves Bash badges through strong attendance, passing all classes, and no disciplinary infractions. Their reward? Extra gum, mints, and some good old-fashioned Bazooka gum! All they had to do was flash their badge to a dean. Way to go, Braves! Students from all four buildings came together for our first-ever Calcapalooza to prepare for the AP Calculus Exam! In the morning, they reviewed key concepts and tackled common exam topics. In the afternoon, it was time to compete for the title of champion. The students pictured proudly represented their home schools while collaborating and pushing each other to succeed.
