Selected for a Diamond Grade Check in Mr. Gonzalez-Baega’s 8th period Drawing & Painting class. She’s not just passing… she’s crushing it! No phone, no distractions, all focus!

✨ Dean Stell’s Diamond: Melanie
Recognized for consistently meeting our phone expectations — no phone, no distractions, and fully engaged!

✨ Dean Jurgens’ Diamond: Mahki
Shining in Ms. Palmer’s class with that phone locked up and a strong commitment to staying on task!

Our EL Language Lab B and Developing Language B students teamed up for a special Thanksgiving project—and they shined!
Students explored Thanksgiving history, built vocabulary together, and practiced sharing their ideas in English. The unit wrapped up with a student-led Thanksgiving celebration featuring student-made games, scripts, pumpkin pie & hot chocolate. They ended with a photo reflection created in Canva (attached).
We’re so proud of their hard work, teamwork, and creativity!

As part of the annual BHS Food Drive, Mrs. Debbie Strom joined Dr. Jayna Harthan, Psy.D., Clinical Psychologist in Trauma Services, Rebecca Beltrami, Social Worker with HUD-VASH, & Donald Donahue, Social Worker with HUD-VASH, to unload donations collected by @bremen_nhs

HUD-VASH is a collaborative program between the U.S. Departments of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) & @deptvetaffairs that provides rental assistance & support services to homeless Veterans, helping them secure & maintain housing.

A huge thank-you to Mrs. Strom for leading this effort and ensuring donations reached our local Veterans Affairs Clinic.

A huge thank you to our incredible Bremen students, staff, and community for making Pay It Forward Week such a success! Led by House Wyvern, one of our staff “houses” formed to build teamwork and school spirit. Our Braves spent the week spreading kindness, giving back, and celebrating our community. This is the story of the loyal, lovable students who were just trying to survive magic school while all that was going on.

PUFFS is for anyone who’s ever felt like the side character in someone else’s epic adventure!

💎 Our students found their own Diamonds in the Deans Office last Friday! The deans leveled up for a Super Mario–themed Dining with the Deans: Halloween Edition! They enjoyed lunch, great conversation, and a little friendly trivia with our Braves. Our Deans had a great time hearing student feedback, answering questions, and connecting beyond the classroom. Congrats to our trivia champ, Miarosa! 🎉

🏒🐺 Sports Marketing & DECA take on the Chicago Wolves!🏒🐺
Students spent the day at the Allstate Arena, starting with a panel discussion featuring the @chicagowolves Executive Team. They shared their career journeys, responsibilities, and marketing strategies for live events.

Daisy and Jonathan even got to ride the Zamboni during the 2nd intermission!!

Everyone had an amazing time taking in the pregame and intermission activities.

Coach French and Coach Verble wrapped up the Girls Flag Football season yesterday in a unique fashion—
Players made homemade pizzas completely from scratch and enjoyed a team-building experience like no other.

The team had an incredible season — earning the first program win in school history!
