On Friday, December 1st, a group of art students from all four district schools participated in the A.P. Art and Design Fall Symposium at Bremen High School. Upon arrival, students were able to display their artwork and receive written and verbal feedback from their district peers. This opportunity provided students with feedback they may choose to implement in their work through a fun, district-wide experience!

Congratulations to Mrs. Flood, Mr. French, & the students that took part in the district ServSafe days this week. ServSafe Illinois is a food safety program that is endorsed by the Illinois Department of Public Health. It is designed to train participants in food safety & equip them with best practices to prevent foodborne illness. #BremenBraves
Congratulations to the 15 seniors that were named Illinois State Scholars! State Scholars are “the best & brightest” of Illinois' Class of 2024. This year’s scholars represent approximately 10% of high school seniors from 676 schools across the state.

Members of the BHS Interact Club spent their Saturday morning volunteering at @thebridgetc By volunteering their time, they were able to provide a year of free programing for 5 students at the Bridge Teen Center! #BremenBraves

District 228 Fine and Performing Arts students participated in the Chicagoland 4X5 Art Show on Wednesday, November 8. Students from all four of our district schools participated, and the district as a whole scored four honorable mentions for student work!
